Alongside the cold chambers runs the ice plant, and it does not keep the agricultural calendar. Fish sellers, sweet shops, caterers, transporters and event suppliers come for ice on ordinary Tuesdays in the middle of the year, and it is ready.

Season rates are quoted on the basis of quantity and how long you hold. Send an enquiry with your load and we will give you the rate and terms in plain words — the same rate list applies whether you bring twenty bags or two thousand.

Yes. Most depositors withdraw in parts as they sell through the season rather than clearing the whole lot at once. Each withdrawal is weighed out and entered against your intake record.

The ice plant runs on its own schedule, independent of the storage season, so ice is available through the year and not only in summer. Shops and caterers who need it regularly can set a standing order instead of asking every time.
